SAGE Services

As a new not-for-profit we are in the development phase of providing service, advocacy and community awareness. It is important that we hear from the LGBT older adult community to identify the needs of the community and develop services that assist in meeting these needs. Our services will continue to evolve with input from the community. We ask that you take a few minutes to send an email to SAGE Metro St. Louis and tell us what services you feel are most needed by LGBT older adults.

Community Outreach and Education
SAGE Metro St. Louis is available to provide presentations and educational seminars to the LGBT community and social service organizations. Contact us to request a presentation for your group or organization.

Advocacy                        
SAGE Metro St. Louis is available for consultation and advocacy. If you are an LGBT older adult, friend, family member and/or caregiver who needs assistance in navigating the social service system, contact us to request a free consultation.

Social Events
SAGE Metro St. Louis will partner with other community organizations throughout the year to provide social activities with LGBT older adults. Contact us and request that you be added to our email list to receive up to date information on events.

SAGE Online Discussion/Support Groups
SAGE Metro St. Louis partners with Gaystlouis.com to bring online discussion and support groups to LGBT older adults. Forums available include: LGBT Caregiver Support, LGBT Grief Support, Coming Out in Later Life, and Out and About (for general discussion and posting of events). Join these forums and find support for other LGBT community members.

SAGE is for everyone, regardless of age, race, ethnicity, religion, disability, gender identity and/or sexual orientation. As a community organization we seek the support and involvement of the entire community. We invite our allied friends, family and caregivers to join us.
