Our Families Count

Our Families Count, a national shared public education campaign to encourage LGBT people to participate in the 2010 Census.  Our Families Count is an entirely voluntary effort launched in fall 2009.  This campaign represents a collaborative effort by more than 100 leaders and community organizers across the LGBT and ally spectrum in America.


Central Missouri Area Agency on Aging

The Central Missouri Area Agency on Aging recognizes the individual capabilities and needs of each older person.  Therefore, the CMAAA's mission is to assist communities in establishing a full range of services which allow older persons to live in the most independent manner as possible.  Please see the CMAAA's website for a list of counties served.


The Missouri Aging Information Network
Provides a database of older adult services throughout Missou.

City of St. Louis Area Agency on Aging
Serving older adults residing in the City of St. Louis.

Mid-East Area on Aging
Serving older adults residing in Missouri counties of St. Louis, Jefferson, Franklin and St. Charles.

Area Agency on Aging of Southwestern Illinois
Serving older adults residing the Illinois counities of Bond, Clinton, Madison, Monroe, St. Clair and Washington.

Old Lesbians Organizing for Change (OLOC)
A national network of lesbian over the age of 60 working to confront  ageism.  For information on the St.  Louis  OLOC  Chapter email: charlotte@oloc.org

PrimeTimers St. Louis
Local Chapter of PrimeTimers Worldwide that provides mature gay and bisexual men (and their admirers) opportunities to come together in a supportive atmosphere to enjoy social, educational, and recreational activities.

St. Louis Gender Foundation
Provides a safe place for people to explore their gender differences.


FORGE

(For Ourselves: Reworking Gender Expression) This site provides a wealth of information regarding gender expression. As well as information on support for Transgender individuals, SOFFA's and Transgender Aging.

 

LGBT Community Center of Metropolitan St. Louis

A ministry of the Metropolitan Community Church of Greater St. Louis. Their website provides links to resources of interest to the LGBT community.
