SAGE Referral Network

Based on a philosophy of inclusion and equal access to services, SAGE works with organizations and business owners throughout Metro St. Louis to ensure that their services are welcoming and inclusive of LGBT older adults, caregivers, their family and friends.

Starting in May of 2010, SAGE introduces the SAGE Care Partner Program for organizations in the Referral Network. The SAGE Care Partner Program is based on 'GLBT Community Standards of Care' developed by the GLBT Health Access Project.  Referral Network partners are asked to complete a self-assessment and submit to SAGE. The self-assessment involves reviewing internal policy and procedures and making needed changes to ensure equal access with a focus on safety, dignity and nondiscrimination for LGBT older adults, their families, friends and caregivers. As this new process is implemented, a report will be added to this page with the results of the organizations self-assessment for review by the community to assist with choosing appropriate service providers.

Should you access a service from our referral network and have concerns regarding this service, please contact SAGE for assistance.
