St. Louis Area Agency on Aging Provides a comprehensive system of community-based services for older (age 60 and better) and persons with disabilities (ages 18-59) who live in the City of St. Louis. The agency's objective is to secure and maintain maximum independence and dignity in a home environment and encourage economic, social and personal independence by providing opportunities for benefit assistance, socialization, and volunteer activities in the community.
Services provided for those eligible include: home delivered meals, case management, respite care, senior centers meals program, transportation services, information and referral, health promotion, benefits assistance, legal assistance, housing options, long term care ombudsman program.
